The stony South-West corner of the vineyard is home to these old yet graceful vines. 2018 was a warmer than average year but it didn't worry these well established warriors. On their own roots, unirrigated and loving it! A generous palette of blueberry is accompanied by slight herbal notes of fennel and thyme along with fine tannins that deliver a structure that teases the senses with every satisfying mouthful. Matured in older French oak for two years, the wine is drinking well now and will cellar for a minimum of 5 years. Andrew Mountford, 13 August 2021. NASAA Certified Organic
